In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1724 ( Relating 
to the administration and enforcement of the peer assistance 
program under the Texas Pharmacy Act.) this office has detemined 
the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1724-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill 
would require the Texas State Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules 
or minimum criteria that are at least as strict as the rules 
or minimum criteria for the administration or enforcement of 
a peer assistance program adopted by the Texas Commission on 
Alcohol and Drug Abuse under Chapter 467, Health and Safety 
Code.  
         

         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
