In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2097 ( relating 
to the operation of risk pools and self-insurance funds by political 
subdivisions to provide health and accident coverage.) this 
office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2097-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.  The increased qualifications for risk pool 
administrators may increase risk pool operating costs for political 
subdivisions.
