In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2123 ( Relating 
to the prevention and detection of fraud in certain programs 
administered by the Texas Department of Human Services.) this 
office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2123-As Passed 2nd House
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         
The bill would make no appropriation, but could provide the 
legal basis for making an appropriation.
         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.
