TO: Honorable Bob Hunter, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 2131

          House

         FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2131 ( Relating
to the title to materials and equipment in the state library
system.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2131-As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government
is anticipated. The bill would possibly result in very small
savings to local governments because they would no longer be
required to report , track , and inventory materials and equipment
costing between $300 to $1,000.
