In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2170 ( relating
to late fees for a person licensed to process radioactive materials)
this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2170-As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change the minimum late fee to be assessed from
$100 to 20 percent of the annual license and registration fee.
The Department of Health estimates an annual revenue loss of
approximately $70,000 if the new minimum late fee were to be
assessed.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
