In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2252 ( Relating 
to certain projects and programs for residents of a colonia.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2252-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 
 
         
The bill would transfer existing appropriations from programs 
or services administered by the Department of Protective and 
Regulatory Services, the Department of Commerce, the Texas Department 
of Transportation, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department 
and allocate those appropriations to services for residents 
of colonias.
         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
