"Buster" Brown, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 2300, As Engrossed Committee on Natural Resources By: Serna Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2300 ( Relating to the creation, administration, powers, duties, operation, and financing of the Paseo del Este Municipal Utility District and to the authorization of bonds and the levy of taxes; providing civil penalties.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2300-As Engrossed No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The creation of a new municipal utility district would have no significant fiscal implications on any existing local governments. The creation of the district would require the issuance of debt, expenditure of funds for construction and administration, and the establishment of a revenue stream.
