The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The bill would require the Department of Public Safety to issue prescription stickers to practitioners, rather than the triplicate prescription forms that are now provided. The bill would allow the department to charge a fee to cover costs associated with producing these stickers. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
