In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2512 ( Relating 
to the authority of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission 
to accept donations and services from certain sources.) this 
office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2512-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


         
The bill would amend Section 441.006(b) of the Government Code 
to allow the State Library and Archives Commission to receive 
donations of services and to participate in the establishment 
and operation of an affiliated nonprofit organization whose 
purpose is to raise funds for or provide services or other benefits 
to the commission. The bill would take effect September 1, 1997. 

         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
