Bosse, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 2564 Committee on Land and Resource Management By: Hinojosa House Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2564 ( Relating to authorizing the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System to acquire by purchase, exchange, gift, or otherwise certain properties to be used for campus expansion and university purposes in The University of Texas System.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2564-As Introduced No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. This bill would authorize the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System to acquire specified parcels of land. Approximately $266,000 in general use fee revenue would be used to purchase the land during fiscal years 1998 and 1999. These revenues are institutional funds. Therefore, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
