In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2670 ( Relating 
to the provision of insurance for county officers and employees.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2670-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The provisions of the bill give counties the authority to obtain 
insurance coverage from a governmental  pool for its officials 
and employees against liability arising from the performance 
of official duties or duties of employment.  Accordingly, counties 
may experience decreased liability costs.
