In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2692 ( Relating 
to the method of bidding for certain contracts related to community 
development programs.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2692-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill would exempt municipalities from the competitive bidding 
requirements prescribed in Section 252.021 of the Local Government 
Code when making  purchases for community development programs 
made under a request-for-proposal process.

No significant 
fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
