In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2727 ( Relating 
to the jurisdiction of certain justice of the peace courts.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2727-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The bill would impact Dallas and Harris Counties.  Dallas County 
officials anticipate the fiscal impact would be approximately 
$266,000 annually for additional staff.  Similar costs are expected 
for Harris County.
