In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB2946 ( Relating 
to the establishment or extension of a municipal water system 
in certain water districts.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB2946-As Introduced
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.  The bill applies only to municipalities in 
Dallas County that have a part of a district located within 
that municipality.  There would be costs associated with the 
construction of a water system or extension of water and sewer 
service in the area to which the bill would apply.  However, 
most costs would be recovered through service charges to the 
customers in that area.
