In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3011 ( Relating
to an act to clarify the manner of precommitment approval for
routine purchases by a port authority district that adopts the
purchasing requirements of subchapter N of Chapter 60 of the
Water Code.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3011-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government
is anticipated.

Port authorities could realize some savings
in administrative costs as a result of using precommitment approvals
instead of purchase orders.
