In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3092 ( Relating 
to a requirement that traffic stop when a bus other than a school 
bus is loading or unloading persons under 18 years of age.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3092-As Introduced
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The Department of Transportation estimates that retrofitting 
buses to add the required warning signs could cost the counties 
between $1,000 and $2,000 per vehicle.
