In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3174 ( Relating
to telephone solicitation using automated dial announcing devices.)
this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3174-Committee Report 1st House, as amended

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
According to PUC, any revenue gains created by the provisions
of Committee Amendment 1 would be negligible. PUC suggests
that the language in the amendment be clarified to state that
the operator of the ADAD, not the person receiving the call,
pay the fee.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
