In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3259 ( Relating
to the implementation of a work training program for recipients
of public assistance.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3259-As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill amends Subchapter A, Chapter 302 of the Labor Code
by adding Sec. 302.004 which would require the Texas Workforce
Commission to establish a pilot program where the commission
certifies training partnerships in allied health professions
for recipients of public assistance. The bill would require
the commission to cooperate with the Department of Licensing
and Regulation in adopting rules under this section.

No
fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
