In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3350 ( Relating 
to the criminal offenses applicable to gambling and gambling 
devices.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3350-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted   FN Revision 1
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         
The bill would amend Section 47.01 of the Penal Code to clarify 
the definition of gambling device.  It would also enhance the 
penalty for gambling promotion from a Class A misdemeanor to 
a state jail felony.  The fiscal implications, while negative, 
are estimated to be insignificant.
         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.
