"Pete" Laney IN RE: House Bill No. 3490, As Passed 2nd House Speaker of the House Holzheauser House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3490 ( Relating to the Texas Experimental and Recovery Activity (TERRA) of the Railroad Commission of Texas.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3490-As Passed 2nd House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would dedicate the Texas Experimental Research and Recovery Activity (TERRA) account in the state treasury (account 5014). The bill would amend provisions relating to when funds deposited into the Oil Field Cleanup Account could be transferred to the account, and would specify circumstances under which funds in the account may be used for administrative and program costs.
