In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3545 ( Relating 
to the statutory county courts in Cameron County.) this office 
has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3545-As Passed 2nd House
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The bill would create County Court at Law #3 for Cameron County. 
 Cameron County officials expect increased costs to the county 
will be between $200,000 and $400,000 annually for the operation 
of an additional county court at law.  The bill would take effect 
September 1, 1997.
