In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3557 ( Relating 
to the creation of a statutory county court in Burnet County.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3557-As Engrossed
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The bill would create a statutory county court at law for Burnet 
County.  The bill would take effect September 1, 1997.  Burnet 
County officials estimate there would be a one time capital 
cost of $25,000 in fiscal year 1998, with annual operating costs 
of $200,000.
