In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB3607 ( Relating 
to validating certain acts of the Garza County Underground and 
Fresh Water Conservation District.) this office has detemined 
the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB3607-As Engrossed
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.  The district would incur the cost of holding 
an election.  Based on results of a Texas Association of Counties 
survey, the estimated median cost of a local election is forty 
cents per resident.
