         In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB86 ( Relating to parental notification 
         before an abortion may be performed on a minor, providing a criminal penalty.) this office 
         has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB86-Committee Report 1st House
         
             No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. Any additional administrative 
         costs to the Texas Department of Health caused by this bill could be absorbed within current 
         operating levels.
         
         Similar annual fiscal implications would continue as long as the provisions of the bill are in effect.
         
 
          
             No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated, although 
          some additional costs to county courts at law and probate courts are anticipated.
