The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The Texas Education Agency identified administrative costs of $47,684 annually to implement the provisions of the bill. It is assumed that the provisions can be implemented within existing resources. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
