In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB136 ( Relating 
to placement of students expelled from public schools in juvenile 
justice alternative education programs.) this office has detemined 
the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB136-As Engrossed
         
The bill  would allow expulsion of certain students in counties 
with less than 125,000 total population and would retain expelled 
students in education programs in counties with a total population 
of 125,000 or more. 

No significant fiscal implication to 
the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.
