In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB136 ( Relating 
to placement of a student who is expelled from public school 
in a juvenile justice alternative education program.) this office 
has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB136-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         
The Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 136 would allow expulsion 
of certain students in counties with less than 125,000 total 
population and would retain expelled students in education programs 
in counties with a total population of 125,000 or more. No significant 
fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.
