         FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB174 ( Relating to a fee
collected by a prosecutor for collecting and processing a dishonored or forged
check or similar sight order.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB174-As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would raise the maximum fee that a county may collect for a

2,800,000 would experience increased revenues of $9,600 to $11,100.
