The bill would partially implement Texas Performance Review (TPR) recommendation WF6 in Disturbing the Peace: The Challenge of Change in Texas Government to establish child-care training centers for recipients of public assistance. Since the bill would create a pilot program, as opposed to full implementation of the TPR recommendation, there would not be a significant impact to the State.
