"Pete" Laney Lieutenant Governor Speaker of the House Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB273 ( Relating to the development of a statewide consumer guide for senior citizens and to coordination of state activities relating to aging; authorizing a study relating to long-term health care.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB273-Conference Committee Report No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The bill would implement Texas Performance Review (TPR) recommendation HHS 24 in "Disturbing the Peace." No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
