In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB318 ( Relating 
to bonds and reports required of guardians of persons with mental 
incapacities.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB318-As Introduced
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill is expected to have a negative fiscal impact on counties 
to the extent that a guardian in this position is not performing 
his or her duty and the court must appoint an attorney ad litem. 
 Currently the bond is used to pay the attorney ad litem.
