The bill would reorganize some provisions of the Health and Safety Code relating to natural death, do-not-resuscitate orders, and durable power of attorney for health care. Chapters 672, 674, and 135 of the Health and Safety Code are redesignated as subchapters of a new Chapter 166. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
