"Buster" Brown, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 633, Committee Report 1st House Committee on Natural Resources By: Brown Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB633 ( Relating to assessments performed before agency adoption of certain environmental rules.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB633-Committee Report 1st House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) to complete a draft impact analysis and subsequent final regulatory analysis for any proposed major environmental rule which would exceed requirements of state or federal laws, exceed a requirement of a federal program delegated to the state, or which is solely under the general powers of the TNRCC instead of under a specific law.
