In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB844 ( Relating
to the allocation and use of community development block grants
in certain economically distressed areas.) this office has detemined
the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB844-As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Comptroller to place $2 million per
year from Community Development Block Grant funds into a GR-Dedicated
account to pay for residential service lines, hookups, and plumbing
improvements associated with water and wastewater improvements
under the Economically Distressed Areas Program.

No fiscal
implication to units of local government is anticipated.
