In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB863 ( Relating 
to precommitment approval for certain purchases of a port authority.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB863-Committee Report 1st House, as amended
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.

Port authorities could realize some savings 
in administrative costs as a result of using precommitment approvals 
instead of purchase orders.
