LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE
75th Regular Session
May 7, 1997
TO: Honorable Robert Junell, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 874,
As Engrossed
Committee on Appropriations By: Wentworth
House
Austin, Texas
FROM: John Keel, Director
In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB874 ( relating
to certain reimbursements of expenses of members of the Texas
State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists)
this office has detemined the following:
Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB874-As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is estimated that approximately $8,000 per year would be
required to implement the provisions of this bill, which would
authorize members of the Board of Examiners of Marriage and
Family Therapists to receive per diem and reimbursement as set
by the General Appropriations Act. It is assumed that the Texas
Department of Health could absorb these additional costs within
existing resources.
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
