LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session May 7, 1997 TO: Honorable Robert Junell, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 874, As Engrossed Committee on Appropriations By: Wentworth House Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB874 ( relating to certain reimbursements of expenses of members of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB874-As Engrossed No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. It is estimated that approximately $8,000 per year would be required to implement the provisions of this bill, which would authorize members of the Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists to receive per diem and reimbursement as set by the General Appropriations Act. It is assumed that the Texas Department of Health could absorb these additional costs within existing resources. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
