LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session May 14, 1997 TO: Honorable Bob Bullock IN RE: Senate Bill No. 925, As Passed 2nd House Lieutenant Governor Ogden Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB925 ( Relating to the imposition, collection, and administration of LPG delivery fees.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB925-As Passed 2nd House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend Chapter 113, Natural Resources Code, relating to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The bill would dedicate fees and all other funds in the Alternative Fuels Research and Education Account (AFRED) to be used for specific purposes by the Railroad Commission. Funds collected under agreements with other states and assessments, rebates on assessments, and other funds collected under the federal Propane Education and Research Act of 1996 would also be dedicated to AFRED.
