The bill would amend Article 8451a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes to allow the Cosmetology Commission to establish and set fees that are reasonable and necessary to administer the Cosmetology Act. The bill would also allow the commission to assess administrative penalties for violations of the Cosmetology Act. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
