In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1131 ( Relating
to the regulation of the practice of cosmetology; providing
an administrative penalty.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1131-Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Article 8451a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes
to allow the Cosmetology Commission to establish and set fees
that are reasonable and necessary to administer the Cosmetology
Act. The bill would also allow the commission to assess administrative
penalties for violations of the Cosmetology Act.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
