LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session May 5, 1997 TO: Honorable Steven Wolens, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 1334, As Engrossed Committee on State Affairs By: Ellis House Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1334 ( Relating to reporting concerning fundraising for governor for a day and speaker's reunion day ceremonies.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1334-As Engrossed No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would recreate the currently abolished State Ethics Fund as a separate fund in the State Treasury, but would not rededicate any revenue to the fund. The recreation of special funds and dedicated revenue sources outside the General Revenue Fund could further restrict the Legislature's ability to appropriate revenues for general operating purposes.
