LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session April 30, 1997 TO: Honorable Rene Oliveira, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 1518, Committee Report 2nd House, as amended Committee on Economic Development By: Truan House Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1518 ( relating to the creation of the Texas High Technology Partnership Center.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1518-Committee Report 2nd House, as amended No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Education Code to establish the Texas High Technology Partnership Center at the Geo-Technology Research Institute. The bill would authorize the new center to receive funds from the state or federal government or from private sources.
