In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1527 ( Relating 
to establishing a home buyer education program.) this office 
has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1527-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill requires the Department of Housing and Community Affairs 
to develop and implement a statewide home buyer education program. 
 The department would cooperate with the Texas Agricultural 
Extension Service, the Real Estate Research Center at Texas 
A&M University and other entities to develop a standard system 
of instruction, curriculum, and counseling.  The department 
would use funds available for home buyer education as well as 
funds received from other entities by gifts, grants, or contracts.

No 
fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
