In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1566 ( Relating
to licensing regulations for physician assistants and acupuncturists;
providing an administrative penalty.) this office has detemined
the following:

         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1566-Committee Report 2nd House, as amended

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Physician Assistant Licensing Act by
outlining the disciplinary authority of the Board of Medical
Examiners (BME); by specifying the reporting requirements of
physician assistants to the BME; and by adding a comprehensive
list of administrative penalties.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
