In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1697 ( Relating 
to the liability of a municipality for damages arising from 
its governmental functions.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1697-Committee Report 1st House, as amended
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.  However, in some cases, this bill's enactment 
could result in a municipality being exposed to greater liability 
associated with community development projects.
