In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1702 ( Relating 
to the archives of the governor's office.) this office has detemined 
the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1702-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


         
The bill would amend Chapter 441, Government Code, by amending 
Section 441.010, Subsection (a) and adding a new subsection 
(f) that would allow the governor, with the advice of the State 
Library and Archives Commission, to place the governor's archives 
in an institution of higher education or alternative archival 
institution.
         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
