The bill would authorize the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System to increase the international education fee charged to students enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin to assist students participating in international student exchange or study programs. The fee would be increased from $1 to $2 for any semester or summer session beginning with the fall semester, 1997, if approved by students in a student referendum.
