LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session May 29, 1997 TO: Honorable Bob Bullock IN RE: Senate Bill No. 1876, As Passed 2nd House Lieutenant Governor By: Bivins Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1876 ( Relating to the consolidation of the enforcement and emergency powers of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission; providing criminal, civil, and administrative penalties.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1876-As Passed 2nd House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill could re-create the Radiation and Perpetual Care fund in the State Treasury, depending upon enactment of H.B. 2948. However, if the fund were to be re-created, any effect on General Revenue Related Funds would be expected to be insignificant.
