In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SB1876 ( Relating
to the consolidation of the enforcement and emergency powers
of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission; providing
criminal, civil, and administrative penalties.) this office
has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SB1876-As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill could re-create the Radiation and Perpetual Care fund
in the State Treasury, depending upon enactment of H.B. 2948.
However, if the fund were to be re-created, any effect on General
Revenue Related Funds would be expected to be insignificant.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government
is anticipated.
