         In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SJR15 ( Proposing a constitutional
         amendment relating to appropriations for the preservation and perpetuation of 
         certain items of historical value; allowing the legislature and state agencies to 
         accept on behalf of the state gifts of items of historical value and contributions to 
         purchase such items.) this office has detemined the following:
         
             Biennial Net Inpact to General Revenue Funds by SJR15-1 As Introduced
         
             The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an
         appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill.
         
         No significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated, other than the cost of
         publication.  The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $71,000.
         
 
          
             No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
