In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on SJR45 ( Proposing 
a constitutional amendment to authorize the legislature to permit 
a taxing unit to grant an exemption or other relief from ad 
valorem taxes on property on which a water conservation initiative 
has been implemented.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by SJR45-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than 
the cost of publication.
         
The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $71,000.
