House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government 75th Legislature February 10, 1997 8:00 am Capitol Extension, E1.030 Pursuant to a notice posted on January 30, 1997, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met jointly with the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Talmadge Heflin at 8:15 am. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Heflin; Davis; Raymond; Swinford (4). Absent: Representative Finnell (1). A quorum was present. At 9:55 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting of the S/C on General Government was recessed until 11:00 am or upon adjournment of the House in room E1.030. The Subcommittee on General Government reconvened at 11:00 am. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Heflin; Finnell; Swinford (3). Absent: Representative Davis; Raymond (2).
